We configure IncuPath with your team: your eligibility rules, your panel's scorecard and weights, the target you want startups to reach by the end of the programme, and how you help on each dimension.
IncuPath · For incubator and accelerator teams
IncuPath checks every application against your eligibility rules, turns your panel's scores into a ranked list with reasons, and shows which gaps your selected startups share, so you know where workshops, mentor time and outside experts should go. Your team makes every decision.

Why IncuPath exists and how a programme team uses it, shown on the example programme.
Why programmes use it
Hundreds of applications, a few weeks to read them.
Every application is checked against your eligibility rules, with the reason. Missing information is flagged for a check instead of quietly ruling a startup out.
Panel scores that are hard to compare and harder to explain.
Your panel scores one weighted scorecard. The ranking puts eligibility first, then the score, and says why each startup ranks where it does.
A cohort that arrives unevenly prepared.
Each startup's gaps against the target you set for the end of the programme, in the order your programme weighs them.
Limited mentor time and expert budget.
The gaps your selected startups share, counted per dimension, with a suggested format: cohort-wide sessions, small groups, one-to-one or an outside specialist.
How it works
One framework from the first screen to the support plan, so what you learn in selection carries into the programme.
01
We configure IncuPath with your team: your eligibility rules, your panel's scorecard and weights, the target you want startups to reach by the end of the programme, and how you help on each dimension.
02
Each applicant comes with its application details and a self-assessment on eight readiness dimensions, the same ones founders use in FundPath.
03
Eligibility is checked for you. Your panel scores the scorecard, you see a ranked list with reasons, and your team decides: shortlist, maybe or decline.
04
The shortlist's gaps against your target become a support plan: what to cover for the whole cohort, where mentors are needed, and which gaps call for outside experts.
What you get
Stage, next round, industry, location or attendance, terms and business model. Each startup shows Meets criteria, Needs a check or Not eligible, with the reason.
Your own criteria and weights, scored 1 to 5 by your panel. A score stays provisional until most of the scorecard is filled in, so half-scored startups don't jump the queue.
Eligible startups first, then by selection score, each with a one-line reason and an attention point. Download it as a spreadsheet for your selection committee.
Shortlist, maybe or decline, your own rating, notes and follow-ups per startup. Your rating never changes the startup's own scores.
Gaps against your programme's target, most important first, with what a 5 looks like for its next round, the question to ask and the support your programme offers.
How many selected startups sit below your target on each dimension, with a suggested format. A starting point for planning workshops and mentor time, not a forecast.
How the scores work
The selection score comes from your panel's scorecard, weighted the way you choose. IncuPath adds it up and ranks; it does not score applicants for you.
Readiness on eight dimensions is the startup's own view toward its next funding round, the same framework as FundPath. By default each dimension counts the way investors in that round weigh it, or you set your own weights.
Not a decision: your team selects. Not verification: IncuPath does not check documents or claims. Not a prediction: it does not forecast which startups will succeed.
The readiness framework
The same dimensions founders use in FundPath. Each is scored from 1 to 5 against what investors expect for the startup's next round, from pre-seed to Series A. Impact is always included; regulatory progress counts when the market needs approvals.

Who it's for
Screen a large intake against your criteria, select with your panel and plan the programme around what the cohort actually needs.
Admit teams on clear criteria and see, from day one, where each one needs help to reach your graduation target.
Apply eligibility rules consistently, keep impact next to readiness, and give funders a clear account of how the cohort was chosen.
Early-stage investors can use the eligibility check and ranking for inbound startups; the support planning is built for programmes. Founder? FundPath shows where your startup stands and plans your next funding round.
Early access
IncuPath is new. We are opening it to a small number of programmes and setting each one up with its team.
Who is behind it
IncuPath is developed by Just for Impact, an independent advisory firm working on investment readiness, commercialization and growth. The framework builds on years of hands-on experience in venture investing, climate tech and deep tech, and on the involvement of investment and innovation experts and of startups themselves.
About Just for ImpactQuestions
A short call about how you select and support startups today, then IncuPath set up with your eligibility rules, selection scorecard, programme target and support offer, ready for a coming intake. You can look at the example programme first.
IncuPath is free to use while we open it to the first programmes.
Not as a shared workspace yet. IncuPath runs in one browser, and the panel's scores are entered as one scorecard per startup. To share the ranking with your panel or committee, download it as a spreadsheet.
Yes. Switch eligibility rules on or off, choose the accepted stages and rounds, set your focus industries, name and weight your scorecard criteria, set the target per dimension and describe how you help on each. With the example open you can try changes before you request access.
Two kinds of scores sit side by side. Your panel scores the selection scorecard. Each startup scores its own readiness toward its next funding round, in FundPath or on your application form. IncuPath never changes the startup's scores and does not verify documents.
FundPath is for founders: it shows where their startup stands and plans the way to the next funding round. IncuPath is for the programmes that select and support startups. Both use the same eight dimensions and 1 to 5 scale, so a founder's FundPath results mean the same thing in IncuPath.
